Help with Serv-u

Hi

i need a little help here im using Serv-u and my prob is this

All upload and download is just fine but when someone try to fxp to me it stops up..

you can make a folder thats it no upload and the error says

150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for yrcfre_en.part02.rar.
RETR yrcfre_en.part02.rar
425 Cannot open data connection.
ABOR

How can i set Serv-u up to allow Fxp

if some one can make a pic or something so even a dumb guy like me can understand it..

Hi Pittpull,

I have the same problem. Tried every thing possible, looked at every document I could find on the subject (close to none) and eventualy gave up thinking it must be my FW for a while.

Did some test localy (on LAN, bypassing FW) and that also didn't work. My conclusion, FlaspFXP can't FXP

Problem solved looks like its nothing wrong at my end

it looks like you need to troggle between pasiv and non pasiv to get it to work... i dont know havent try it *lol* have never try to fxp only d/l u/l with flash.

Thanks for the tip, but I toggled just about any switch I could find earlier, but still no go. By now I'm used to the fact that I (and maybe not it (!)) can't.

Howdy.

There is a little tool that you have to disable if you want people to be able to FXP to you. Serv-U does this so other can not fill for server with crap from other servers, just direct uploads.

If you disable FXP bounce protection, you should be a good as gold.
