The next version of the popular CD/DVD Burning Utility - Nero Burning ROM is due out on the web on July 18th.

All users who have purchased the Nero 5.5 Retailbox version (NOT the OEM version that came bundled with your drive or PC) after the 1st of May 2003, will receive a free e-mail upgrade to Nero 6.

Nero Boxed version will cost $79.99 and will be available in retail stores on August 18th. The downloadable version will cost $59.99.

Hey Alpine,

Thanks for the heads up. Nero is by far my #1 choice in CD burning. I would be interested in seeing the new changes in the upcoming release!
