Undoing Network Setup Wizard

my friend messed up something.. having to do w/ network setup wizards (UGH>>...mS needs to get rid of that crap)

any one know how to undo it?

he has a router, a PC, and a laptop..he was trying to share files..
somehow he added another connectioned, on his PC it adds Internet Gateway-Internet Connection ors omething like that..... thing is he didnt do anythign to the PC but sahre a folder.

on the laptop is where he started the stupid wizard, its his sisters laptop.
And now she's got some other connection, i dunno what...
and it freaked out his computer (i guess since he didnt do anythign to it)

But he didnt complete the wizard....he got to some part and then cancelled it.

now she has two connections on her laptop ...and so does he.

How can he "undo" whatever the stupid wizard did??

You should be able to right-click on network neighborhood, select properties, find the connection you don't want and delete or disable it.

It could be Gateway, I mean second connection. Could be Firewire card if it says 1394.
and if it's not like I said, then JacKDynne is righ, you should be able to right click and delet it.
That is like on my PC.

Dial-up Connection - Online
Local Area Connection - Disabled :: Don't Have Cable Or DSL
1394 Connection - Online

Well it just popped up on him...

*BUT* ..again..i put in his thing in google..and started reading the hits....and it SEEMS like the LInkSys router he has, is UPnP....so it was creating the Internet Gateway.
And we found out how to disable it...and it didnt pop up.

He's had it since monday, and it just did it last nite???? Though.
And then the login screen and stuff came on..which ..he never touched.

weird stuff.

I still think the wizards are stupid and need to be taken out....i've never had any real success with any of them.
*ESPECIALLY* the networking one.
