Just wanted to know what if Bill Gates havent Started MS.. Because Todays Tech world mostly based on the Windows and MS softwares

acutally i've never been exposed to anyother OS other than MS. like to work on os's like Linux etc./.hope a day will come for this

Apple would be the desktop OS , Linux|*nix for Server and BeOS would still be standalone.. actually I don't know BeOS that well, so I won't go there. heheh

I think OS2 would have been the desktop OS then. And netware or some unix OS would power our servers.

I don't know is Apple would have had the kick start they had; most software if the first macintoshes was developed by Microsoft. Most Office software we use today saw their first light on apples.
