Heard about this a while ago, and yes it's very sad that this young man chose to kill himself. And some of his on line "buddies" acted irresponsibly but some of them did try to help. Unfortunately due to the anonymous aspect of this form of communication it wasn't possible to save him in the end. My consolences to his family.
On the other hand, and some may not agree, but people can say anything about themselves while chatting. They can pretend to be someone else if they choose. It's easy to point fingers after the fact.. but how many of you would believe that someone was actually killing themselves on the other end of the keyboard?
