I know I have been told in the past if I find a news story that I think is good, post it in Chit Chat. If the news team thinks it's good they will move it into the Members News Section since only the News Team can post in that section.
I like this idea, but rather than post in Chit Chat could we post in a section that wouldn't bother others. Somewhere all members could feel free to post several news postings that the News Team could review and pick from if the want. It would also be best that any postings in "THAT SECTION" not be listed on the Main BetaONE page, therefore not bumping any of the other top 10 posts off. Of course, if one of those news postings were selected and the News Team moved it into the news section....then yes let those bump one of the top 10 recent postings.
I'm not sure how clear I've made my idea.
Just my $.02 anyway.
