Alcohol 120% Burning Problem

I have problem burning iso or bin image using alcohol 120. i'm using the latest version but everytime i tried to burn an cdimage my cpu usage is getting higher, sometimes it reach 100 percent & it gives an error to my recording. when i tried to burn the image using nero burning rom my recording is done correctly.
Has anyone else experience this?

Sounds like a bad install,or packetwriting software that interferes,is it the demo that you use?.......I get 21% max cpu load when burning to 2 burners on an Athlon 800....

No, it's not a demo it's version 140 Build 114 Retail. when i'm recording at 8x it works correctly or error free. but when i use 16x my cpu usage is getting higher & it give's an error to my recording. in nero it works perfectly.
