When in doubt go to one of these sites to see what IP is being seen
_http://www.mycgiserver.com/servlet/kalish.Security

_http://www.blackcode.com/scan/

_http://www.rental-web.com/~azuma/cgi-bin/env.cgi

_https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

Could always run domain naming service like DNS2Go can be found here _http://dns2go.deerfield.com

Hope this helps

Good Luck

All IP addresses starting with 192.168.x.x are private ip addresses. More than likely your public IP address is going to be the 194.158.x.x.
Does your ADSL provider provide you with a static or a dynamic IP? In most cases DSL providers provide assign dynamic IP's if you are a home subscriber. In that case you will notice that there will be 2 IP addresses allocated. One of them will be the actual public IP (otherwise called the "server IP" ) that you will use to setup your FTP server. The other one is called the "Client IP", which is basically an internal IP allocated by DHCP to your local machine. Hope this helps.
You can also type "ipconfig" in the RUN command and get your IP address (provided you are running windows XP).
