This is the Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP edition of Columbia University's Kermit communications software. It handles both modem and TCP/IP connections, offers 40 different terminal emulations, Kermit, FTP, and XYZMODEM file transfer protocols, international character-set conversion (now including Unicode), numeric and alphanumeric paging. It also allows incoming connections, and includes a scripting language to automate any communications task .
