WinXP/MSIE 2nd web window sizing???

Is there a setting or hack to force WinXP/MSIE to open a 2nd or subsequent web window full-screen instead of the default 3/4 screen???...

...This is starting to really piss me off...

IE opens new windows in the same size as the one you are viewing or the last viewed size. Either make sure that you close the browser window whilst it is full window or manually resize the IE window using the corner of the window.

Here's the fix that I always use:

You should also do the following (so that any other windows that are opening, by clicking on a hyperlink) open in a new MAZIMIZED window:
1. From an existing open IE window, shift and left click a link on the page.
2. A new window will open. Resize it by dragging the corners of it to mazimize it, filling your screen. Do not maximize it by clicking the mazimize icon.
3. Close the first (original) IE window
4. Close the new window that you manually mazimized.

Now when a second IE window opens from a first one, it will be automatically mazimized. This is a bug in IE that isn't well known.

Yeah there is a bug related to maximising button in Explorer Windows in Windows XP which drives me nuts. It is also in Windows Media Player in Windows XP. Sometimes when I press the restore button in MPXP, it becomes the same size of the maximised player. Then I have to resize it by manually. Hasn't even fixed it in Windows XP SP1.

I didn't understand the question FrogBait4 asked. I thought he was asking how to full screen a explorer window, where you can press F11 to make it full screen.
