A little note for people who use the superb mpeg software TMPGEnc.

The latest version, 2.59 has a known bug which effects XVCD creation.

A XVCD is a VCD with reduced bitrates to allow a whole movie to fit on a single disk.....

When you encode with reduced bitrates, the filesize will not be decreased and will stay as if you encoded at proper VCD standards....

This is a known bug by the developer who will be corrrecting this problem in the next release.
