AMD share price continues to soar
But Rambus soars higher

CONTINUED speculation on Dell adopting processors from Advanced Micro Devices (tick: AMD) sent its share price rising again on the New York Stock Exchange.

At press time the stock was trading at $35.50, up 57 cents on the day, and a 52 week high. The 52 week low was $14.08.

By way of contrast, Intel (tick: INTC) fell by 12 cents to stand at $26, despite the widespread publicity following the Macinteltosh launch yesterday.

Rambus (tick: RMBS) showed an astonishing gain of $5.58 to stand at $33.89 following an analyst's switch to buy from hold. Microsoft (tick: MSFT) bumbled around at the $27.23 mark, up 23 cents, while the Google (tick: GOOG) rose $2.62 to stand at a truly remarkable $472.38.
