Future wins worldwide deal for M$ Vista mags

BRITISH publisher Future said it has been awarded international rights by Microsoft to publish a magazine called Windows Vista The Official Magazine.



The firm will have a five year licence worldwide and the first edition will be published in the USA, in the UK, in France and in Italy.

It will license the title to other firms in 32 other countries, it said.

Greg Ingham, Future's MD, said: "We are once again collaborating with Microsoft." The firm also said it has exclusive worldwide rights to publish official mags for the Xbox, except in Japan. Future didn't disclose financial details of the deal with Microsoft.
