HER MAJESTY'S Secret Service is recruiting its latest batch of 007s online, according to the UK national press.
The
Current Bun says there is a shortage of people who want to fight evil forces for nothing more than Pussy Galore. MI6 seeks to take on more top staff who are 'resourceful, resilient and like living abroad'.
The site,
here, says that MI6, or the SIS as it prefers to be called these days, needs front-line officers, language and IT software, networking, communications and technical management experts.
It is not the first time that a world wide network has been tapped for agents. The first 007, Dr John Dee, used another spy, Edward Kelley - whose ears were cropped for clipping coins - and a crystal ball to plug into a network of Angels to get the dirt on the great and good of Europe. The two 00s represented the eyes of the Queen and the seven was Dee's number.
When the angels were less forthcoming he popped off to Prague to do some more traditional spying. Later he and his wife were involved in a wife-swapping incident with Kelley and his missus. Well that is international espionage for you
