Learning Subnets?? Anyone used?

The have these on the CD for 16 dollars, though I'd like to know if there is another type of product out there, more reputable. Obviously, I'll pay for the material for my class. I bought the text book for my CCNA guide (onlline).

The reason why I'm asking; I don't want to put out cash if you believe its a phoney product. Anyone had experience with this, and/or seen something that is similar. I have my MID-term next week, so my appologise for the time constant.
