Congrats JacKDynne!
Once you go broadband, you can never turn back. I was on the same boat as you for such a long time. All the neighboring towns were getting cable (DSL wasn't an option since my location was too far from the C/O) that I was getting frustrated... Then, I remember like it was yesterday, the day before Thanksgiving in 2003, it became available where I live. I have never jumped into my car so fast and rushed on over to order it!
Anyways, congrats again and enjoy!

I gonna git you sucka!
I know it's not the quickest compared to some of the pipes out there but Man-O-Man don't ever take it for granted
Dialup blew for the last 7 years and because of location (mine) it was all I could get

Hey JD;
I am on the Comcast Gold tier; they are moving to 8megs down, and 768 any day now, so I guess they are testing my area...
The regular comcast tier is now 6megs down/384 up, and if you can get Comcast cable, they are offerring that regualr tier for 19.95 for 6 months!!
/Voodoo, prayers are being said as we speak!!
