FireFox Just Failed Test
You test your browser and see if it fails too. If it passes you will see

The page cannot be displayed

Code:
http://secunia.com/multiple_browsers_idn_spoofing_test/

I just tested using

FAILED
Quote:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0
PASSED
Quote:
IE 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp
Please post your results below.

Edit - Of course, for those that don't already know you can always avoid the spoofing problem by never trusting links. Always hand type your trusted web address in the address bar. Still FireFox has an over all security rating of moderately critical with 8 Secunia Advisories vs. IE as highly critical with 77 Secunia advisories.

Remember though IE has 77 currently known holes and FireFox has only 8, one of these being the spoofing problem.

I quite like Firefox but it also has problems displaying certain webpages, i.e. Microsoft Exchange and SharePoint (maybe MS did this on purpose!)

After getting ADSL, I am back to IE6 too. Firefox felt slower.

And I dont personally like their idea trying to promote Thunderbird dissing Outlook. I can soft of support their Firefox > IE arguement but cannot stand Thunderbird > Outlook opinion. Thunderbird is still no where near Outlook.

Here is a bit of insight to IE. It's well written in a neutral POV.

Result:
You are vulnerable, if a new window is opened displaying a Secunia page, but the address bar is displaying http://www.paypal.com/.

A new window did open. But didn't display a Secunia page. The address bar is displaying http://www.paypаl.com/ but the title is Invalid syntax error. So where am I?
