OK, bit the bullet and went ahead and did the upgrade to the 6 MB. Took about 5 minutes for them to reset the modem and do the programming. Works great! Thanks War for the information and the post. Heck, I didn't even know they had a higher speed over 3 MB in the residential class till i read your post.

Was told it just came out today.
And damn yeap 6mb/512kbps. They said they were going to do 2mb and told teh tech to tell me but he did not so I just got three months free.

Cause he mistold me the truth on accident. Not his fault though. His admin or whatever did not tell him.
I'm just fianlly happy for once with RR.

Heard they firied about 50 admins in my area so that might be the reason.
Though I hope upload goes up soon. Going to call back tonight and ask if they have any plans to have faster uploads in the near future.
And tweaked now pretty good.
CableNut works great.
Download the update too. And use OOL 10000 1000 as its working great.
poopie I need a job. I cant afford to loose this baby or I will go nots. I'm loving it. But damn $70 a month plus $50 just for damn basic donkey cable.
AND NO DMAN JOB

lol I'll be broke in 3 months.
Anyways, anyone have any other tweaks?
Well NetLimiter is not really want I want it seems.
What I want is a way to limit my brothers ip address. Everything. Not just like a proxy. What I was looking at early. Since you would have to setup every app.
I need something that just sets between his connection and the out side world you know. Which limits how much bandwidth he uses.
Ok see I got 6mbps down right. So I want to only be able to use max 3mpbs at one time but still let me use the full 6.
ATM I turned on QoS Packet Scheduler and set to 50% but not really working right for some reason. Yes restated.
CCProxy works for limited ie for example and ftp once I setup his ftp client. But still everything else cant still use max. Since its just a proxy. But guess the wrong kinda.
So really what I need his to make his enteir ip address route though a proxy which limits bandwidth right?
You can tell i've never done this before. lol Sorry if I am confusing the hell out of you. lol
