is there anything that you guys can think of (registry, biosm process, virus) that can slow down my dma transfer, ive checked the obvious in my bios and computer mgmt, but still can't find any problems with it,is there anythg else?...holla back

I would run adaware and spubot to check for things running in the backaround. What is your current ata setup? This will be used to check for hardware? Do you use 100 133 200 or something else?

Do you know what your hard drive and controller brand is? Check in device manager and let me know. You might also need updated drivers and a bios flash.
