Hi all!

I have a question for the Linux freaks:

Which Linux distros are bootable past the 1024 cylinder limit?

I have 4 operating systems installed (windows) and I donīt wanna change the structure of my disks... Iīve had RedHat 7.3 before and it needed to be within the 1024 cyl. Maybe thereīs a workaround for this?

CARTMAN is an unknown quantity at this point
add lba32 to top of the lilo.conf and just lilo -v or install lilo to MBR.

Depends what boot loader you use. AFAIK GRUB can boot past the 1024 cyclinder limit, without any (re)configuration. Haven't used LiLo in a long time so I can't help you there.
