I was a REALLY stupid person, and clicked on a link on IRC.. and it popped up as a clothed woman.

BUT my NOD32 went totally beserk!!!!! W32.Pysch.VB or something of that nature.. What the Grrrrr.. Its filling up my Cache with gif files, un-edible cookies.. NOT EVEN COCO CHIP.

I've run:
Ad-aware
NOD32 Full Scan
Tried to edit the registry see about taking out entries..

What else should I do?

Thank you...

You could let Symantec scan it for viruses and trojans etc -

I never checked the All Users directory in Doc and Sets.. Grrrr.... Thanks Rich.. This just pisses me off.. and also embarrasing.. I'd be stupid enough to click on a friends link.. NEVER AGAIN.. The few that spoil it for the many.

I'm switching virus software..

This never happened with Norton AV..

I guess this is one virus that NOD32 skipped.. Oh well.

Though it would be interesting to run
Norton AV
NOD32
& PC Cillian..

but I've been told by many never to run multiple AV software.

Any thoughts?

prolly it was not NOD32 @fault here, may have been just user error

imho
don't click on stuff so hastily next irc session (bad bad Cyberion)

You may wanna go over ALL ur settings via da NOD32 Control Center, be certain to look under setup in modules AMON, IMON, blah, blah, blah... b4 u start changing av sw.

Don't be too hard on urself, it happens to da best of us one time or another. Hope it turns out ok...

Or shut down ur box for today, crack sum cold ones and enjoy da Super Bowl

I think I'm clean.

I found a bunch of malware with a scan of Adaware. Virus scanned too.
