Got a new dual Xeon 1.7GHz XP with ATI Radeon 8500 Video Card.
I can play videos in a Media bar on a left of a browser screen in small windows.
Get nothing trying to play in a regular way in a Media Player.
Using latest DiVX.
Some file formats show up as ATI type and are played in ATI Player fine.
Changed all to Windows format, no luck...

By the way lost close to 80 messages.
Any chance to restore my status.
Kind of funny to see 1 posted message.

DO NOT SEE MYSELF AS A NEWBIE!

The still image link returns

in VB Script Runtime Error '800a000d'
'Type Mismatch: ' breaks .........

No it was not codec.

In Properties Media Player was not checked for all media types.
Why would MSFT not default to all is beyond me.
