mp3PRO rocks the world beating the then-champ WMA8 few months ago. and later Microsoft latest audio codec WMA9 strikes back!
there is big misunderstanding with WMA and that's why ppl don't move to the new file format. and that's the Digital Rights Management.
the new Windows Media Player warns you for the first time when you try to encode files with the 'protect content' is turned on. you can switch it off after that, and then your WMA files are exactly like MP3 or mp3PRO.
