Ok, for some reason I got added to a list of SPAM. Every 30 seconds or so, I recieve these damn pop up dialog boxes, that say something about a security flaw in messenger, and how if I pay 29.95, I can fix it. Well, I don't want to pay that, so, what do I need to do in order to fix this SECURITY FLAW?

ANy chance that you haven't disabled or set to manual the
service called MESSENGER? That is, right click My Computer/Manage/
Services and Applications/Services/Messenger.

Billybob just type services.msc in run scroll down to messenger and change the startup type to disable. This will not affect msn messenger service at all but will stop the pop-ups
