I keep getting an error out of this dll and I can't figure out why. No matter what I'm doing, be it posting on b1, looking around my computer in explorer and close a window, or anything else, occasionally IE or Explorer will crash with winmm.dll as the cause. I've had some problems out of my ram and cpu lately, but I've got all of that fixed now.. I've encoded video for almost 48 hours straight the past two days, and it didn't crash once, except for these damned annoying errors, so I know it's not a hardware problem.
I've tried replacing the dll and running SFC /scannow, and neither fixed it. I'm usually running WMP 9 in the background constantly no matter what I'm doing, and I think winmm.dll is used a windows multimedia library, but wouldn't it be crashing WMP and not Explorer and IE if it was a WMP problem?
