Hey,
Anyone know how to make Windows re-login automatically after you log off.
My old computer does it find. Just don't remember how I got it to work.
Right now my computer logs in automatically at system startup, but not if you log off.
So yea right after you log off I want it to log right back it. That is how my old comp. is setup so I know its possible.
Thanks a lot,
Will

Ok, you're really confusing. You log off, but want it to log on? That's an oxymoron. You can't log off, and log on at the same time.

No I mean u log off then it auto relogins.
So you logout then it logins right after you logout, but automatically, without the user having to type in a pw or user name.

No time. And yea sign is immediately after u log off.
I want to do this because I am the only user and I only logoff when there is a problem, so it would be nice if it would sign back in on its own.
thanks,
will

And it was a registry edit. But I never
Knew what it was, I'll look around and
see what I can find out. No promises!!

I got it. Thanks for leting me know it was a registry key. I thought it was something else. I found my huge registry text file. Now its time to make a batch file to do them all for me.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
ForceAutoLogon
That and i justed used tweakui to logon automatically.

Glad I could at least Point you in the right direction
And
You can also use the following steps to enable automatic logon without editing the registry in Windows XP Home Edition and Windows XP Professional (not joined to a domain):
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type control userpasswords2, and then click OK.
In the dialog box that appears, clear the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box, and then click OK.
