Adding Links to posts

I can't figure out how to add a link in my post? I notieced that no one else does it either. Are they disabled? Why? I think they should definetly be enabled...unless there is some reason against it.

Links were disabled as a security precaution. People were posting links to ilegal software, members were clicking on links and the sites were logging BetaONE as the referer. BetaONE is not a warez site, we didnt think server admins should get the idea that we were from their logs. Though the influx of new crew has cut this sort of thing down we decided that live links would not be re-enabled

I don't really like links either, even though its much less effort.

I put all my links in CODE /CODE on my site because of this.

Oh, ok, sounds like a good reason. Didn't know that it would put BetaONE as the referrer.

Everytime you click a link on a site which refers you to another page, that page knows exactly where you have come from. Handy for site stats

I don't think live links are a good idea either and having this mod to the board means I haven't got to worry about writing the links in a certain way so they aren't active
