Now .... im so tired of computing ... always crashing !!

Anyway ! .. there we go with my trouble


like u see in my sig ... I got a Asus a7v333 Raid With a Voodoo 5500 64mb!
Now .... When i put power On .... Nothing on the screen ! No sound ... any error ( i don't see on the screen ! )

So .. ill take my voodoo card ... put in a another PC... werk fine !!
Take another video card ( Gforce 2 32mb ) and don't werk too !!

Why ... 2 day's ago ( before i got the error msg from my bad licence with XP Sp1 ) everything was fine !!! ?!

Have see on amdmb.com .... find nothing about Voodoo 5500 + asus a7v333r

Anyone have a idea for helping me ?!

Sounds like either a mobo or a bios problem. Is the video card agp? PCI? If its PCI, have you tried different slots? Do you have the latest bios upgrades? Just a few thoughts.

you should check the power supply, try another good PS, check the litiumbat on the motherboard. As a final attempt, remove everything from the case, examine every part looking for faulty symptoms. Put all the parts together, doublecheck all connection for poorly fitted cables. There is always a possibility to set-up the computer-parts outside the case - just in case to check whether you have a "short" inside the case.

Press the power-on button, if you are lucky - or done a good job - then you will be back in business

One other thing. You said you tried to upgrade to XP SP1 correct? And it told you you had an invalid key.

Have you formatted and reinstalled XP since?

That would be my first attempt to try and solve the problem, unless you have critical data on the HD you can't backup and can't lose.

Yeah guys !

To answer at all your question:

My voodoo is AGP and my power supply is new , i got a 530watts,, and i have reformat after i got the bad lincence warning !!

I can't do a bios update ...... i see nothing on the screen!!

Anyone can help with that ?

The last time my pc wouldn't turn on (lite came on, monitor comes out of standby, but came up blank) it was a bad ramstick.

Maybe this sounds crazy, but it happend once with a PC
The floppy cable wasn't connected and the PC didn't start <_<

try to remove all d RAM from d mobo and turn it on just to see if it gives u any kind of beep errors without it (it should ) if it doesnt... well... face it, d mobo is fried...

be sure to try first another PS, just to be sure
