With the transition from hard copy to digital media, the data that we store on our computers can be some our most precious belongings. In my regular nine to five I come across so many people who want some way to save their memories. In most cases backing up to a CD-R would be more than sufficent. But as the conversation rolls on the addition of music and movies always seems to come up as data that needs to be backed up. There is a slim to none chance that a simple disk media will be enough to store all one wants. This is when external drives come into play. With externals ranging in storage from about 80Gb to well over terabyte capacities there is surely one to fit the needs of the most avid media collector.
