__________
When you register a domain, you have a five-day grace period during which a registrant can drop a domain name and be refunded your money. This allows registrants to test a domain for marketability, as well as allow for typos and other such mistakes. However, domain tasting (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_tasting) is when speculators use this grace period to put up web pages full of pay-per-click ads, keep the few that make money during the five days, and refund the rest - or even all of them.
Google is taking steps to make this tasting less palatable for speculators.
