D-Link expects its shipments of 802.11n Draft 2.0 products to increase to one million units in the fourth quarter of this year, company president JC Liao said at an investor conference. The company shipped 1.5 million 802.11n products in the first half of 2007, according to the company.
The declining ASPs (average selling prices) of 802.11n products will help drive up demand in the fourth quarter, Liao stated, noting that the ASP of 802.11n routers in North America is expected to drop to US$50 by the end of the year, down from the current range of US$69-79.
