There may be a cure for AMD
It's official, in development, Daamit
SCIENTISTS have discovered what could be a potential cure for AMD.

The findings are put forth in an Indian medical journal. Scientists have set up the London Project to Cure AMD, which is a collaborative project bringing together some of the leading specialists in the field. No news on whether Hector is among them.

Around a quarter of over-60s in the UK, we are told, have some degree of visual loss due to AMD. This seems a little harsh, since the firm's rendering power isn't that bad.

Currently, there is no treatment for AMD and the prognosis is bleak.
Projections suggest that a third of the population could be affected by AMD by the year 2070. That would be a fairly decent marketshare increase if it could be pulled off.
Tom Bremridge offered hope to sufferers - "This development is exciting and encouraging for current and future generations of AMD patients," he said in a press statement. Surely he meant patience. Or was that patents.
