Microsoft: Vista UI Uses Little Battery Life

Responding to a number of recent (http://blogs.chron.com/techblog/arch..._and_doom.html) articles (http://news.zdnet.com/2100-1040_22-6181366.html) claiming that Vista's new "Aero" user interface causes laptops running the new operating system to drain their battery faster, Microsoft has published its own results (http://windowsvistablog.com/blogs/wi...ery-life.aspx). The company says Aero consumes only 1% to 4% more battery life than when the feature is disabled.
