Today we reach an important milestone in ieXbeta history. It was five years ago today, on April 1, 2001, that Nanzy first installed the forum software and brought the board online.
In that time, we've certainly seen a lot of changes here on ieXbeta. From the infamous board crash, to supposed law suits, to a walkout, and so many skin & logo changes that I've lost track.
Now, naturally, with all those changes, comes some baggage and that baggage has been weighing us down. Therefore, the crew has been discussing things over and we've decided to break away from the ieXbeta name/history and form a new site called
TacoBeta!
By the time you read this, the ieXbeta web site should already be forwarding traffic to the new TacoBeta.com domain and, depending on how you came into the site, you may already be noting the new URL.
Over time, the ieXbeta name will be completely phased out, but please pardon the dust while we work through that rebranding process.
Lastly, I want to thank all of the crew for honoring me in choosing the new name for the site and I hope all of you continue to active members in this wonderful online community.
