what? dont animals have rights? I'm not trying to be an animal rights activist, but dang, i think its really wrong, just to kill an animal because its a pitbull its like killing demon possesed cats (my cat would be first on the death row) just because they are cats. I think its wrong? Any ideas on what will happen to the people that hide their dogs?

I think there is more to this story then they are letting out.

Anyways I understand why they passed the law! And glad they did!

But yea I do feel sorry for animals. I just hope to God humans are not next on someone eles list. Well, if we humans are, we certainly deserve it!

I guess I would not like a 3 year old pit bull having my 3 year old grand daughter for lunch. The odds are not even. Pets have replaced human relationships in our modern society because they are docile, dependant and never become awful teenagers. It's as long as it is wide.

The problem is that there are a lot of stupid, unattentive owners who allow their pets to roam free. THere have been several maulings and repeated attacks by pit bulls. They are on the list as banned pets. I believe that a few years ago, Denver passed a law requiring registration, after some long court battles and some bad attacks the government using fear tactics, reinstated the law allowing any and all pit bulls to be destroyed. They had the list from a few years back and now they are just rounding them up. Unfortunatly pitt bulls have a bad reputation and irresponsible pet owners are not helping the situation.
