Trying to connect to a Nokia 6150 mobile GSM phone using my IR port from my laptop and i get error messages stating that the remote machine actively refused the transfer.


Anyone can help??? Do i need a nokia data suite or some kind of driver??? Please help me

If your 6150 came with a CD check for drivers, although the computer should recognise it. You might also want to check with Nokia to see if you have the latest software for the phone ... as IR might have been fixed in a later software revision.

Try lowering your IR port speed, but it sounds as if its a phone problem.

Yeah but if the comp is refusing the connection in the first place that won't work. Worth a shot though.

Flanderz write try to check on the IR port configuration on your BIOS, need to lower down the speed, or use the normal IR port speed.
