Upcoming Wxp Sp2 And Features

i just have a question, will the upcoming sp2 have the security feature sp1 had
where it checked the validity of your winxp copy? and if so, would it now
have a more farreaching capability?

I'm sure you are refering to the fact that Microsoft Blacklisted some cdkeys in sp1. Well I doubt it. Seeing as by now RC1 would have probally had blocked a lot of users. Valid ones as well.

Sure it was a nightmare for some people. Seeing as you did not even get a simple warning.

Due bad feedback, it looks like Microsoft hasn't made an attempt this time to blacklist leaked keys.

Talking about upcoming features:
Afaik, there were attempts of including a built-in virus scanner in XP SP2. I am just wondering if that attempt is abandoned or still in progress.
