Strange Filetypes :

Hey
My wife has some files we want to access, but they use a filename I have never seen before

It is 2 different filetypes : *.APE and *.GIG
The only clue I have, is that they are music related, any help appreciated.

.ape is listed here as audio.

GIG = Gigasampler file

You will able to play Monkey's Audio (APE) files using JetAudio.

GIG files are Audio files too. But I looking at this google result

You can decode .ape files with dbpoweramp using the monkey plugin. You can convert them to MP3 .Wav WMA etc. dbpoweramp.com
