Cpu Usage While Burning Dvd W/ Nero

I have successfully used my LG GSA 4040B dvd writer to make copies using the NTI software that came with the machine, DVD Decrypter and Dvd Shrink and other similar software all worked just fine. I received the Nero v6 Ultra edition including "Recode" from Santa but to my dismay every dvd function started to use 100% of cpu and produced a startling amount of heat- Nero Express NeroVision Express and Nero Burning Rom all did the same. I had no similar problems burning cds. Has any one seen this before? Is it a software issue or does this burner have a known issue with Nero that I haven't heard of? Indeed is using 100% of cpu any thing more than an annoyance?

I have only noticed it using 100% whilst it is writing the lead in and lead out for the DVD. The actual burn process ticks along at around 7 or 8%. If it managed to burn the DVD then i wouldnt worry
