SIRCOOKS is an unknown quantity at this point
i have two problems:

1.[color=red] my trash bin in xp home stays with a full symbol on it even though theres nothing in it, then when i press empty recycle bin it always says if i wanna deleye these 4 items, then when i press ok, it says cannot remove folder Dc9: the directory is not empty.

2.[color=red] When ever i try to delete folders sometimes, i wont allow me too, it always tells me that the directory is not empty and i have a few folders on my hd that i wanna get rid of,

Anyone got any solutions besides formatting............
holla back

Sounds like you may have "hidden" items in there.....  Trying turning off the protections on your operating system via allowing you to see EVERY file, even config system files.
