June 2003 VB100 results

Stumbles across this site reports test results for various antivirus software. Sort of interesting.

I use Alwil avast! 4.0. Seems to have gotten a 100% rating.
How did your vendor do?

I am trying to find an alternative to the big behemoths (norton & mcafee). Avast is also free, so I can't complain. Also using mcafee's free online virus scanner as a backup.

I am discovering that with a little work, freeware products can do as well as retail products. Time for me the think outside-the-box more often.

yea i would also like to get away from nortons, but didn't know any other good ones.

Been using Pc-Cillin for the last 2 years. Never failed me even once. Haven't caught a virus ever since I started using it. Gets 3 thumbs up from me, dont care what others say about this AV, its one of the best AV program available out there.
