Enter The Matrix

Hey dudes

I have Enter the matrix, not when a level is about to load, the game bombs out back to Windows. No error or error beeps are given. it just quits. as if i'm clicking exit.

This is after the level when you chase Morpheus, and you shoot off all the police. (I'm playing as Ghost). Then the level that it starts to load, and bombs out on, is called "The Truck". anyone else having this problem?

Did you update to the newest patch?

I read somewhere that it was the cause, well a cause... I used that patch and havent had it crash again (only did once before so I cant say for sure the patch fixed it the one I installed was 1.51 I see that 1.52 is now out also).

one more question, when i run the game using EAX, there is a crackling noise in the speakers. when i shoot it sounds as if the sound is distorting. I see the patch i'm downloading also fixes the EAX problems. Thing is, i had the same error with Mafia, is the problem my sound card, or my sound card?

argh. I hate technology.
