I bought a PS2 and would like to play "back-up" cd's.
Adding a mod chip is all it takes, I think.
Can some one link me a site with more info on this?
Don't want my children derstroying my discs!! (cost too much)!! Uh Huh!
would be gratefull for some help....

I can't remember where I got mine from, someone just directed me to the page to buy it from. Mine is the magic chip, but it requires so many solder points on a very small circuit board that there is no way I can do it, I am trying to find someone else to do it for me but have had no luck so far. Taking the thing apart is hard enough :P. The xbox is so much easier to do

lol. using 'back up' cds to play PSII games is an excellent idea if your children are too hard on the original cds. just be aware and make sure if it is legal in your country then you are completely safe.

i am saying this because in our country, using a mod chip is now legal and therefore our children are so much lucky.

hope site site would be helpful to you.
