This free piece of code gives you ability
of disabling or removing some crapy windows
components:
- it can remove or disable System Restore
- same thing for System File Protection
- and also with PCHealth components
- it helps you to choose which default
Windows media player you wanna use
(basicly you can switch back to 6.4- which 2 times faster I think)
I love this tool. Take a look at the size of your _Restore directory
before applying it.
You may also notice signifficant speed boost.
Also, I think my Windows works more stable, cause some
of these componente are pretty buggy.
In case of any problems it is capable of restoring back
all the components it previously removed.
Notice: Install all big software packages and Windows updates
before applying, cause some of these cannot install correct
without some of these components...
Notice 2: I only know it works with Win ME, I am not sure
about other Windows versions...
