Whenever I try to put spaces to separate column rows, the spaces keep getting taken out. Is this because the board is trying to save space?

Or am I missing a setting somewhere that changes this?

unicorn is on a distinguished road
Until somebody that knows more about how this board works replies you might try to put text formatted that way inside a "Code" part, like this:

Code:
column 1 * * *column 2 * * *column 3 *1 * * * * * * * * * *2 * * * * * * * * *3 *a * * * * * * * * * *b * * * * * * * * *c
It's not that very nice but at least it works.

Thanks! I guess I'll do that until I get the real answer.

i think that's just the way that IBF's post parser is written.. there's not an option for it in the admin cp that i can find anywhere, so putting it in a code box may be the only way to avoid the spaces being taken out
