I run several QA labs and we use alot of switchboxes. Your problem is hardware. It could be that your videocard is not compatible with that switchbox. That is why it freezes up. I had this happen to me recently where I kept switching back and forth with a dell server and worktation. Every so often i switched back to the workstation it would freeze up. Either get a new switchbox or a new video card, unfortunetly that is the only solution. hope that helps peace

i have the same problem with my switchbox at home (2PC). I think the problem is the switchbox. by cheaper switchboxes often the contacts are corrupted, like mine at home . i solved this problem by switching between the two pc's and after 3 or 4 times keyboard and mouse are ready to use again.

but maybe your hardware configuration needs a special box with mouse and keyboard emulation.
