The prices on digital cameras have dropped drastically over the years and while they're very nice to have there's not much you can do with a digital picture once you take it. Sure you can transfer it to your computer and look at it, or even upload it to share, but there's just something nice about having a picture in your hand that's on paper to show, share and give away. Yes, you can have them printed for you or you can invest in a digital photo printer to print your own pictures but the cost of ink these days is ridiculous, and of course the cost of quality photo paper is outrageous as well. When you combine the costs of a good quality photo printer, the special photo ink and high quality paper is it even worth it to print your own pictures?
