Microsoft Extends XP Support for Low-Cost Desktops
In April Microsoft announced (http://technologyexpert.blogspot.com...es-longer.html) that Windows XP Home would be available for ULCPCs (Netbooks, UMPCs) for one year after the release of the next version of Windows (currently known as Windows 7), or June 30th, 2010, whichever is later. On Tuesday at Computex Microsoft extended that same support to so-called Nettops, or ultra-low-cost desktops.
