While looking at the optical drive section of LG's website, I ran across this expensive little gem. LG has apparently created a disc drive that is capabable of reading both Blu-ray Discs and HD DVDs. For some reason it can only burn Blu-ray discs and not HD DVDs. This appears to be the first instance of this type of optical device in the consumer market, to my knowledge. The price is high ($999) but it's to be expected. "
