I've started to set up my wife's new laptop for her. This involves (naturally) uninstalling all the "crapware (http://news.com.com/PC+makers+walk+fine+line+with+crapware/2100-1041_3-6177050.html)" and installing all the applications she uses. More on my experiences in a later post.

Rather than have to have two PCs in front of me to do this, I'd rather use Remote Desktop Connection (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_Desktop_Protocol) (RDC) to control her laptop from mine. Imagine my horror when I realized I could not use RDC on her system. It could be a client, but not a server (which is, of course what I needed). Only Business, Ultimate, and Enterprise contain this functionality.
